The Faith-Based Heart of DivineAid Uganda
DivineAid Ministry is the faith-based pillar of DivineAid Uganda — bridging the spiritual and social dimensions of community development. Founded in 2015, the ministry operates across Lira City and four districts in Northern Uganda.
We believe that lasting community transformation requires addressing the whole person — spiritual, emotional, social and economic. Our programmes are designed to uplift individuals and families from the inside out, empowering them to build dignified, purpose-filled lives.
Through outreach, youth mentorship, counselling, and women empowerment, we have reached over 5,000 community members and continue to grow our impact year after year.

What We Do
Ministry Programmes
Four core programmes anchor our ministry work — each designed to touch a different dimension of community life and human flourishing.
Community Outreach
DivineAid Ministry conducts weekly outreach activities across six parishes in Lira City and surrounding districts — preaching the gospel, distributing relief materials, and mobilising communities around social needs.
- Door-to-door evangelism
- Open-air crusades and gospel meetings
- Relief distribution to vulnerable households
- Community prayer and intercession sessions
Youth Mentorship
Our youth programme equips young men and women (ages 15–25) with life skills, spiritual formation, and career guidance — empowering them to become agents of positive change in their communities.

- Peer accountability mentorship groups
- Annual youth leadership conventions
Counselling & Wellbeing
Our trained counsellors provide confidential support to individuals and families dealing with grief, trauma, marital challenges, addiction, and mental health difficulties in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
- One-on-one counselling sessions
- Marriage enrichment and family counselling
- Trauma healing for conflict-affected communities
- Mental health awareness workshops
Women Empowerment
Through faith-based women's groups, DivineAid Ministry supports women in Lira City and beyond — building their spiritual confidence, economic independence, and leadership capacity.
- Weekly women's fellowship meetings
- Financial literacy and savings group formation
- Skills training in tailoring, crafts & agribusiness
- Women leadership and advocacy programmes
Our Journey
Ministry Milestones
- 2015 - DivineAid Ministry founded and registered in Uganda
- 2016 - First large-scale community outreach campaigns launched
- 2017 - Youth mentorship programme started, 80 youth enrolled
- 2018 - Counselling centre established in Lira City
- 2019 - Women empowerment groups formed in 5 communities
- 2020 - Remote ministry operations maintained during COVID-19
- 2021 - Annual impact convention reaches 500+ attendees
- 2022 - Ministry active in 4 districts across Northern Uganda
- 2023 - 5,000+ community members reached through all programmes
- 2025/26 - Expansion to 3 additional districts — in progress
